Welcome

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My primary research interests are in philosophy of science, especially concerning the role of values in science and the epistemic significance of the social organization of research. I have recently been researching the epistemic and ethical implications of current intellectual property and licensing policies in biomedical research and in agricultural biotechnology. This work, as well as being relevant to philosophy of science, dovetails with my additional research interests in bioethics and the philosophy of food.
